Retainer Instructions
Brush your retainer everyday when you brush your teeth. Like your mouth, your retainer can build up food particles, plaque, and calcium that may affect its look and taste. Should calcium deposits occur on your retainer, occasionally soak it in white vinegar to remove light stains and calcium deposits. Should heavy deposits occur on the hard plastic, your retainer can be placed in a cup of water with a denture-cleaning tablet like Polident or Efferdent once every 6 months.
